The Old Spotted Dog Ground is the home of Clapton Football Club and is situated at Upton Lane, Forest Gate, in the London Borough of Newham. It is often referred to as the Spotted Dog.
Before Clapton FC arrived, the ground was used as a sports enclosure and hosted County Cricket matches under the ownership of Mrs Vause. In earlier times it was part of the grounds of the Henry XIIIs Old Spotted Dog Hunting Lodge (now pub but closed).
